Minimum Requirements

 â–º  Skype-compatible device with a camera and microphone

 â–º  Acoustic piano, or full size (88-key) keyboard with weighted keys

 â–º  Reliable internet connection

 â–º  Agreement to abide by lesson/studio rules and cancellation policy  (see below)

 

Studio Policy

It is my sincerest hope that you understand the necessity of establishing a STUDIO POLICY.  If you have questions regarding this policy don't hesitate to call.

 

Please note that for students under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to grant permission for the lessons to take place, and to sit in at the beginning and end of the first 4 lessons. For young children, it may be necessary for a parent or guardian to be present throughout each lesson.

Payments must be processed before lessons can take place. This may take some time depending on the method of payment, so please plan accordingly.

 

Lesson Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of a lesson must be made AT LEAST 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time in order to receive a make-up lesson. Lessons cancelled with at least 24 hours advance notice be rescheduled within the original month of the cancelled lesson, schedule permitting. Make-up lessons not used within one month of the original lesson will be considered forfeited. Students are responsible to pay for lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice.

In order to discontinue lessons, students are required to give written notice at least one week before the first lesson of the upcoming month. Otherwise, students will be required to pay for the full month.

Payments

​

Lessons are billed one month at a time, for the number of lessons that are scheduled for the upcoming month. A bill for each month will be sent by email by the 25th and payments are due before the 1st of the following month. Payment should be made by electronic bank transfer to:

   

There are NO REFUNDS on unused or cancelled lessons.

Holidays/ School Breaks

​

Lessons may be skipped during the weeks of School breaks and on official holidays. Please advise me as soon as you know you will have to miss a lesson due to these reasons. 

 

When Your Teacher Cancels

​

If I need to cancel a lesson, I will find a suitable time with you to reschedule the lesson. If this is not possible, the payment for the missed lesson will be applied as credit toward the following months’ bill.
